This beautiful example is handmade by Michihamono with a laminated HSS cutting edge that will keep it's edge for an extremely long time. The knife is totally symmetrical and therefore ambidextrous.

It features a flat back and fine bevel.

The handle is made of oak that has had a burnt finish applied, which is soft in the hands and beautiful to work with.

Outstanding leather knife

I’ve been using this knife for about 3 weeks and this far it has been a real pleasure. It is clearly made very well, with a lovely hardwood handle and a hard steel that has been staying razor sharp for many cuts. The staff were also very impressive, answering live questions late on a public holiday. Beyond impressive.
