The 291 compact Ryoba is used for much the same work as a western tenon saw, it has progressive rip teeth on one edge and crosscut teeth on the other – ideal for tenons, saddle joints and lap joints.

I'm new to this type of saw but so far so good I love the thin fine tooth blade which gives me more control on fine work.
