These secateurs are designed for general garden use, ideal for pruning small branches, flowers, and houseplants. Each piece is hand forged and sharpened using traditional methods and has it's own variations and irregularities. This pair has had it's handles bound in tan vachetta leather and waxed thread, and also arrives to you with it's own matching leather sheath.
The leather is designed to lend comfort to the hand and makes these shears beautifully tactile. It's actually hard to put them down, and even covering and uncovering the blades becomes an beautiful process. This leather will darken and patinate with exposure to sweat, sun and sap. Expect this as a matter of course for your pair of secateurs as they grow to reflect the useful life you have in store for them.
