Their small size gives you the chance to make a couple and experiment along the way – perhaps making one smooth and softly rounded and another more textured, leaving the marks of the carving tools visible.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eYou’ll learn how to hollow the inside, shape the outside and refine your form, while exploring how different timbers feel to carve and how their grain and colour can influence the finished piece.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eRachel’s relaxed and approachable teaching style is all about slowing down, learning to work with your hands and enjoying the process. Your pots don’t need to be perfectly round or matching – each can take on a character of its own.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eNo experience is needed.
