Japanese Carving Tools & Timber Day - JTA invites you to join us for a special open day celebrating the art of woodcarving and the tools that make it possible. This one-day event is an opportunity to explore our range of Japanese carving tools and exotic carving timbers, learn more about their uses, and speak with experienced carvers and tool specialists.
We are also delighted to welcome Greg Hehir, owner of Carving and Turning Timber Sales and Melbourne Carving School, who will be presenting carving demonstrations and sharing his extensive knowledge of carving tools, techniques, and timbers.
Rachel Shaw from Waiting For Spring will also be joining us for the day, showcasing a selection of carving tools, sharing her carving experience, and discussing the tools and techniques she uses in her work. Many of you may already know Rachel from the carving classes she has run with Japanese Tools Australia over the past two years, inspiring carvers of all skill levels to explore and develop their craft.
We are also pleased to welcome Daniele from Tools Reborn, who will be conducting sharpening demonstrations throughout the day. Daniele will share practical sharpening techniques and tips to help you get the best performance from your carving tools and edged tools.
