This 8mm files is the smallest of Iwasaki Round Wood File, it is designed for controlled work in tight radiuses, small holes, narrow grooves and fine carved details.

It features Iwazaki's unique spiral teeth pattern, leaving an extremely fine shavings and a very fine finish.

It is the best choice when the work area is small and accuracy matters more than speed. Use it to refine pierced work, clean up small openings, smooth tight internal curves and adjust delicate details without removing too much material at once.

Recommended for:

Luthiers, model makers, carvers, toy makers, instrument makers and woodworkers working on small holes, fine grooves and detailed internal shaping.

Materials Application: All types of wood, bamboo, plastic, resin, gypsum and similar workable materials.

Please note that the file ships unattached to its handle. The file can be seated in the handle with a few firm taps from a hammer.
