Razor sharp.

Such a simple thin little knife, but razor sharp and hasn't left my pocket since it arrived. Perfect for those small jobs that seem to pop up hourly from opening packages to trimming the casing off electrical wire. Call me old fashioned but the brass "case/handle" suits this type of knife perfectly.

Handy, sharp, cheap

A handy little knife for trimming and marking. Not the most comfortable in hand, but the price, sharpness and utility easily make up for that.

Kiridashi marking knife

I've used the right hand marking knife for over 2 years now. It's a beautifully light, well made knife with a sleek cover to allow safe storage. The wide blade acts as a handy datum register when scoring timber against other profiles.

I didn't really need a new hammer, but this is beautiful, and that makes it more enjoyable to work with. The handle in not stained or oiled. I used some Rubio Monocoat oil and it came up a treat.

Perfectly weighted, a great size,

Perfectly weighted, a great size, and the store owner dropped it off at my place himself to make sure it got to me quickly. Only possible problem I have is that I'd misjudged the weight of my steel hammer which i'd bought this to match, so now i'm considering buying a larger one of them too...

Marking knives

These inexpensive left and right marking knives do what they are supposed to do, cut sharp lines across grain up against a straight edge. The thin handles take some getting used to but feel comfortable in use.

Hi Paul,Glad to hear that our knives are getting a work out in your shop and performing to your expectations. If you have a lot of marking out to do and the thin handles don't suit, we have a few other options that might fit your hand better. May your knife lines be fine and your kerfs straight,The JTA Team
