The Precision Saw Set by KAKURI is perfect for fine woodworking and allows a wide range of tasks such as, cutting dove tails accurately and effortlessly, cutting timber joints where precision work is required, cutting flush to the surface without marking your work and getting into tight places with the fine keyhole saw.
Designed to allow equal versatility of its tools and uses. Every blade and handle in the series is completely interchangeable to enable the craftsman the ability to customize the entire range of Japanese pull saws to suit each specific purpose.

My favourite saws by a mile. I reviewed these saws in Australian Woodsmith 4 years ago. The fine toothed saw has been used most weeks ever since. The rigid back and fine ground blade creates a saw that is always accurate and (even after 4 years) incredibly sharp). After years of use the blade has lost just two fine teeth ( due to collisions with nails) The flush cut blade trims dowels and joints with ease and leaves a neat finish straight off the blade. I have only used the hardwood blade once and have yet to need a keyhole saw. The canvas bag and oiled cardboard sleeves have done a good job protecting the saw itself. My other Japanese saws hang in the tool chest and spend there days watching this little wonder work
And fast delivery. Expensive though, would have bought more tools and I will but at slow pace.

First project with the new saw set was 52 angled tenons. Using a fence as guide the cutting was smooth, the accuracy great, the cut clean and the saw fitted firmly and into the handle and maintained a steadiness for the project.
I would definitely recommend this saw set.

It is quite wonderful to discover a webshop that has such an extensive collection of Japanese quality tools, and experience that your order arrives within a week, even though they are located at the other side of the planet! Last year it took me 34 hours to cover the distance from the Netherlands to Australia… so this is impressive.
The tools themselves? Excellent value for money (maybe the Australian Dollar is weak in relation to the Euro? I don’t mind!) and a webshop that is easy to navigate.

i have yet to use it a lot but it appears to be accurate and easy to use. The service has been good with supply of additional blade arriving quickly as promised.
It’s one of the most beautiful tools i’ve ever seen! Finely detailed quality of manufacture and precision performance.
This is a set of very accurate tools. I don't have more than 1% of a woodworker, but even though I got a super fine cut.
The set is fabulous. Comfortable handle and easy blade change.
I take my saws out at the most unlikely times and use them where other tradesmen are still scratching their heads as to how to tackle a difficult cut.
Love using them and still finding out their unique capabilities. I will buy sets of these for each of my sons as they become apprenticed to me.
