This beautiful tool can pull double duty as a marking or a carving knife. It's blade is ground with a laminated HSS cutting edge similar to a kiridashi profile with a hollow-ground back.
This gives the knife one flat reference to your work or square, and a fantastic cutting edge.
The shape of this knife varies slightly compared to "traditional" kiridashis in that the curved spine of the blade orients the cutting edge very close to parrellel with the handle - hence it's adaptability to carving jobs.
Arriving to you with a beautiful veg tan leather sheath and a black paracord handle wrap, the Shinobi is the perfect ally for your next project.
