The Iwasaki curved half-round carving file is made for controlled shaping on hollow forms, flowing curves, rounded recesses and sculptural details.

Performing exceptionally on the hardest timbers ( we tested every model on the hardest Australian hardwoods) It features Iwasaki’s unique spiral tooth pattern and chemically polished teeth, helping the file cut cleanly with light pressure while leaving an extremely fine finish.

The curved body helps the file follow concave and rounded shapes more naturally than a straight file. It is especially useful for carving bowls, scoops, curved mouldings, instrument parts and organic forms where control is essential.
