The Shinwa 60cm Foldable T-Slide Slim Shift Circular Saw Guide Ruler is a compact, versatile cutting guide designed for convenience, precision, and adaptability. It folds down to just 89 mm in width for easy storage and transport, making it ideal for tradespeople and workshop professionals on the move.
The guide fixes securely at a 90° angle using a screw along the slit, allowing for consistent and square alignment. It features dual cutting modes - thin plate mode and thin cutting mode - enabling smooth transitions between materials. By raising or tilting the butt, you can cut thin materials without binding, or make precise, small cuts.
The abutment height is designed to clear stacked 9mm boards, ensuring it won't obstruct secondary materials. Made with corrosion-resistant SUS304 stainless steel, the rod offers long-lasting durability and strength, while UHPE tape and a polycarbonate protective cap minimise friction and material wear.

Ok you buy a circular saw and they supply it with a bit of stamped tin plate and call it a saw guide. My Makita was no different. I bought this yesterday and used it today cutting up five sheets of 12mm plywood for weatherboards on a shed I’m building. It easily fitted my saw and remained in place to the correct dimension for the whole job. Each piece cut has come out as a uniform size. The rule on this is absolutely spot on as you’d expect anything with the Shinwa brand on it to be. The movable fence supports the saw right to the end of the cut making for perfection in line and finish. What a great tool. I cut a lot of plywood in my workshop and find handling whole sheets through the table saw a real chore. This guide allows for easy and accurate cutting on saw horses.
