Description

The STAR-M bit depth stops have integral ball bearings, so that when the coloured stop contacts your work surface, it immediately stops rotating. Typical depth stops continue to turn with the bit and leave a mark on the work surface

The drill stopper can be adjusted simply by using supplied allen key to release locking screw and setting to correct height and re-tightening locking screw.

With 6 different size options to choose from, these will work equally well with any fluted bit including twist drills, augers, and even masonry bits.

Please note that when using these stoppers with our Super Clean Cut Bits by Star-M, the short body of those bits means that a maximum depth setting of only about 10-12mm is achievable.

Sizing suits drill bits respectively in diameter. For interim sizing, a larger stopper can be used on a smaller bit - but only to a maximum of 1mm difference (eg. 12mm stopper can be used on an 11mm bit, though it will not spin as freely against your material).
