Takumi Jingoro Sashigane - Thin Corner

The Shinwa Takumi Jingoro Sashigane - Thin Corner represents the pinnacle of the company's craftsmanship. These premium tools are meticulously hand-finished by Shinwa's smiths to an exceptional level of precision before being plated with a durable hard chrome surface. Manufactured to JIS standards, they deviate from square by less than 0.06mm per 100mm, ensuring a long arm deviation of no more than 0.36mm.

The markings are particularly pleasing, featuring a classic typeface. The front face displays metric markings on the outside of the arms, while the rear face features a square scale on the outside of the long arm, a circle scale on the inside, and a mortice scale at the end of the long arm. The sashigane has been heat-treated to be both strong and flexible. A key feature of this model is its thin corner, which makes it easier to use when lying flat against a workpiece, a point of difference from other Takumi Jingoro models.
