A longer Extra Fine flat file for cleaner shaping and better control?

The Iwasaki  150 mm flat carving files made for controlled shaping on flat surfaces, chamfers, bevels, edges and larger carved planes.

Performing exceptionally on the hardest timbers ( we tested every model on nthe hardest Australian hardwoods) It feature's Iwasaki’s unique spiral tooth pattern and chemically polished teeth, with a chipbreaker like geometry producing clean, precise shavings while leaving a fine finish often compared to #280 grit sandpaper. The longer file length gives more contact with the work, making it easier to fair surfaces and shape with steady, confident strokes.

These are excellent files when you need more reach than a compact 100 mm file, but still want a clean and accurate finish. The flat face helps true up surfaces, refine furniture parts, smooth carved work and remove material cleanly without the rough, torn finish often left by ordinary rasps.
