  • Track-saw-style straight cuts, no track needed — a rigid, adjustable fence guides your circular saw in a straight line without setting up rails or clamps.
  • Fully adjustable fence — slides forward, back, up, and down to match your material and saw position for each cut.
  • Low-friction UHPE-lined glide — the saw moves smoothly along the fence for a cleaner cut with less resistance.
  • Built-in stabilisers — resist fence deflection under cutting pressure, so the guide stays true from the start of the cut to the end.
  • Durable mixed-material build — iron body and aluminium end stop for rigidity, with resin slide components for smooth, low-wear movement.

Description

The Shinwa 45cm T-Slide II brings track-saw-style straight cuts to a handheld circular saw — no rails, clamps, or separate track system required. A rigid fence rides along the guide body on a low-friction UHPE-lined slide, so your saw glides smoothly through the entire cut instead of catching or wandering off line.

The fence adjusts forward, back, up, and down, so you can position it precisely against your material and saw before you start cutting — useful for both ripping sheet goods to width and breaking down structural timber. Built-in stabilisers keep the fence from flexing away from the blade mid-cut, which is what actually determines whether a "straight edge" guide gives you a straight cut or not.

Construction is mixed-material by design: an iron body for rigidity, an aluminium end stop, and resin slide components that keep the fence moving smoothly without wearing the guide's edge. It's built to register against a saw base with a 12mm×3mm guide slot — if you're unsure whether your saw has this, it's worth checking the base plate before ordering, or getting in touch and we can help confirm.

double guide

I have one 165 mm and two 190 mm circular saws from Japan not sold in North America and they have two slots for the saw guides. The parallel guides or rulers have two arms that slide into the saw base making them extremely stable and accurate for ripping wood. They look like the one you are selling except for the two adjustable arms to fit different size saws.
