Lovely tool. Perfect for clearing long grass from around herbs. I quite enjoy using it, and it's easier to grab this than start up the whipper snipper when I see a spot that needs tidying up.

Great tool,
Makes cutting grass around other plants so much easier. Wish I had bought this years ago. Was delivered very quickly, without issues. I also really appreciated that the whole delivered package was recyclable: box, paper tape and paper based filling to the box too.

New take on an old tool

I love this tool! It swipes through long native grasses effortlessly and is probably more efficient than any powered alternative. Living near the coast, I appreciate the fact the blade is stainless steel and I don't have to be super vigilant about rust. Only takes a short time to develop a swift cutting action - a delight to use.

Japaneses Scythe

This hand scythe is a fantastic tool to have for small patches of grass/weeds. Really light in the hand and just a swing of the wrist will cut through grass like butter - as close to the ground as is needed. Beautifully made and efficient, it can get a small job done quickly and quietly in the early morning without having to drag out the lawn mower. japanesetools.com.au has good communication and good delivery service , and also seems to be a good range of all tools Japanese available on their website so it’s a useful one to keep in mind if a quality tool is needed :-))
