Description
Description
The sarae-nomi is a HSS laminated woodblock printing tool that has a very shallow curved profile to it's blade and a fingernail edge profile. It's curve is so shallow that the surface it leaves can be perceived as flat unless scrutinised closely.
This allows it to take wide cuts in waste, and smooth transitions between cuts made by differing tools. Use it as a final finishing tool when refining the waste areas of your blocks.
