Description

This Fine Cut Saw Blade fits any handle from the Kakuri Saw Series. This blade is a Dozuki style saw. It would be challenging to find a saw that will cut as beautifully as this one. This saw blade, with a maximum cut depth of 35 mm and a solid 1 mm spine is designed for stability to ensure the perfect cut. The blade is not impulse hardened. This allows the teeth to be resharpened.

The KAKURI Fine Cut Saw Series has been designed to allow equal versatility of its tools and uses. Every blade and handle in the series is completely interchangeable to enable the craftsman the ability to customize the entire range of Japanese pull saws to suit each specific purpose.

Each blade in this series is made to the highest quality using only Japanese or Swedish steel. These metals are highly regarded and are used by professional craftsmen around the world. Some of the fine tooth blades are hand filed, giving you the accuracy and ease of cutting in every pull of the saw. The handle mechanism to hold the blade is uniquely streamlined to eliminate any chance of the latch getting in the way of your material.

The Kakuri Fine Cut Saw Series delivers versatility and quality in tools used by fine craftsmen for the trades of boat builders and shipwrights, makers of musical instruments, cabinet-makers, box makers, carpenters and in joinery.

Love the fine cut blade for cutting dovetails

I have a specific saw for cutting dovetails but don’t use it anymore. Love the fine cut blade for my timber kakuri saw handle - can cut dovetails with absolute precision.

Fantastic but gentle?

The blade is amazing; it's like using a razor.
However, after only a few short uses I've had some teeth break.

Great saw

Very fine as promised, excellent for detailed work. I've made several test cuts and the saw cuts very smooth. The blade itself is high-end with zero imperfections. The locking mechanism worked great, very solid, no rattle. I love the red oak handle. The darker strip of wood embedded in the handle was a nice touch and added a touch of class to an already pleasing design. Highly recommended.

180 mm fine cut saw

It is the best saw for cutting dovetails. The tooth pattern works exceptionally well ripping or crosscutting the joint. Easy to control. All Christians tools do exactly what they say they do, and are if the highest quality.

Fine Cut Blade 180mm

I do a lot of fine delicate work making models. The saw (with the 180mm fine blade) is invaluable. Furthermore it handles larger stock with ease if it's not convenient to go to the table saw or drop saw.
