Popular for use on Japanese kitchen knives, we also love using camellia oil for protecting tools from rust and patination.

This light oil adds a layer of protection without leaving surface or surrounding timber greasy. When in need of a quick finish we have been known to rub it onto timber, followed by a coat of wax when dry. While not durable, it is food safe for implements like chopsticks and spoons, as well as easily reapplied.

This larger size of camellia oil comes with a screw on cap and internal stopper, as well as a pump-spray head for ease of application.

This is a nice oil for the protection of saws and chisels. It is very light and protects the tools very nicely even in the humid conditions here in North Queensland wet tropics.

Great oil I use it on all my saw's and chisels, also the base plate and platform of my thicknesser and jointer. Its helps the wood move easier and less sticking. I have also spray a little on my 58mm Japanese plane on the base helps to slide better. Its also a good rust prevention.
