Gardening Sickle

I have 16 different hand and long handled hoes for different jobs. This is my favourite. (was expensive)

Gardening Sickle provides great assistance in removing couch grass from garden beds. Its the second one I have purchased for the task.

The sickle was a good weight and well balanced for the job at hand although it did need sharpening several times. I needed to shorten the grass (Stipa) as a fire precaution without damaging the orchids and other wildflowers. There was no machinery needed which would have compacted the fragile soil and I could be selective about what I cut. A chore made pleasant and relaxing.

Absolutely love this tool. So easy to use and no pressure on my wrist. Have given many as gifts to gardening friends

Love my sickle originally bought at garden show but after loosing it I was devastated. Found your product on line. Painted handle red and put rope handle on it. Best tool ever.

I purchased two of these and gave one to my mum. She loves it and use it all the time. The tool is well made and very good quality.

Excellent tool. Fast & efficient. Makes light work of weeds in tight spots. Great for between the rows in the veggie garden.

Although I am left handed I find the sickle is easy to use

great to slide along under the ground and uproot the weeds. Also good for getting between paving to remove weeds

The Gardening Sickle was bought for my husband for Fathers Day and he loves it. He did have something similar but he is often telling me that this one is better to hold, better weighted and so sharp.

I love this tool. It’s so easy to use and much less strain on my arthritic hand. Highly recommending it to all my gardening friends.

This little beauty makes weeding and aerating the garden so easy. I received mine the other day and used it straight away in a section of my garden I'd been dreading to get into. The SICKLE gets deep under the root system, removing the stubborn roots that continue to grow back if not removed properly. While doing this it was so easy to aerate the munch that becomes a hydrophobic mat. I would recommend the tool to all gardeners, avid or not.

I love this tool, and as a commercial gardener, I have my colleagues and clients using it happily as well.

What a great tool. Super sharp, well balanced and comfortable to hold and use.

I use this tool to remove tough weeds between the pavers in my garden. The hook shape helps grab them and because it is really sharp it cuts through them in no time.

We live in the Far North where you stand still long enough you start sprouting roots! This Sickle is ideal for getting under the tough baked hard ground to clean out the roots and all. Cuts easily through Gingers and other ryzome and running plants in the garden. Also very useful for cleaning the tops off of the sweet potatoes and other harvested greens.

A brilliant cutting tool with superb edge, shape and balance. It's indispensable in my garden, particularly for all the long ornamental grasses.

I bought this to go with the Hori Hori that I absolutely love. The sickle cut through thick kniphofia grass so easily and I am sure I will find lots of other uses for it. A beautifully made and easy to use tool - highly recommend!

My Japanese gardening sickle is my constant companion in the garden. Have given many to friends, who all exclaim at the ease of use and effectiveness of this tool.

I don’t know how I managed without this tool. It’s amazing for pulling out paspalum and other crowning weeds. It’s light and easy to manage but at the same time super strong.

This is not my first Sickle, I have invested in a few, some have been modified to have longer handles for easier use in big areas, and I wouldn't use anything else, just great.
