Forged from premium Izumo Yasugi steel, these Japanese long nose snips (Mekiri Basami) deliver exceptional sharpness, precision, and durability. With a Rockwell hardness rating of 59–60, the blades maintain a razor edge even with frequent use—ideal for fine pruning and delicate floral tasks.

Extremely lightweight and designed for balance and control, these 190mm snips are perfect for harvesting herbs, deadheading flowers, and trimming soft stems. Their long, narrow blades allow for clean, detailed cuts in tight spots. The distinctive red and white handles aren’t just stylish—they’re highly visible and easy to find in the garden or shed.

Please note: These snips are not suitable for cutting hard or woody stems and should be used only for live, soft plant material.
