The Japanese craft of Sashiko is the reinforcement and decoration of fabric with thread. It is a mindful, meditative process that can be taken up by anyone of almost any age.
This kit allows the sewer to make their own persimmon pincushion with thorough instructions and all the necessary materials included.
With two different colour combinations to choose from, the design features a hitomezashi (one stitch) pattern using pre-stencilled tsumugi dot grid fabric.
