Description

Made from a selection of Australia hardwoods and topped with Kangaroo hide (suede  side up & one side is skin side up), these strops are ideal for deburring and polishing your knives / tools as a final stage in the sharpening process.

Handmade in our JTA Studios, the strops are molded on the sides for comfortable grip. 

The strop can be used alone with a polishing compound of your choice or with our Shapton lapping Powder grits. ( fine, medium, coarse).

Dimensions: L210 x W60 x H20mm

Note, there maybe variants in timber and leather colour as all strops are unique.

Great edge, very shiny

I have been very happy with the strop. The strop is my final step after an 8000 grit water stone. I have been using it with green compound on the furry side.
Much care needs to be taken with the strop as I have created some damage (gouges) from the sharp corners of chisels as I was learning how to use it.
Would reccomend
