Questions
Which range should I choose?
Kakuri Hybrid chisels arrive sharp with the hoop fitted, so they're the easiest place to start. Oire Nomi are traditional laminated chisels; you seat the hoop and lap the back yourself. Kamiwaza have white paper steel edges and only need a sharpen. Kikuhiromaru are handmade with Shirogami #1 edges and handle heavy mortising in Australian hardwoods.
How does the saving work?
Mix any widths and any ranges. 3 or more chisels and they're all 10% off; 5 or more and it's 15% off. It's applied automatically at checkout. The roll, stone and hammer are full price.
Which widths should I start with?
A 6mm, 12mm and 24mm trio covers most joinery. Add 9mm and 18mm for a five-piece workshop set. Use the quick-fill buttons to load them in one tap.
Should I buy a fixed set instead?
Our fixed Oire Nomi 6-piece and Hybrid sets are still available and include specific widths. Building your own lets you choose exactly the widths you need, mix ranges and add a single width later.
Shipping and returns
Orders placed before 12pm are dispatched the same day, and shipping is free over $200. If you're not happy, you can return it within 14 days.
