Aogami Plane Blade Set - 48mm

For those who have dreamt of making their own Japanese plane, these blades are the perfect starting point. 

Sourced specifically for our run of plane-making courses with Dylan Iwakuni, Ryohei Yamaguchi and Takuya Aoki, these blades are hand-made in Niigata prefecture with blue paper steel (aogami #2) cutting edges and ship with a corresponding chip breaker.

We had the privilige of watching a class of woodworkers bring these blades to life over the course of a weekend under the tutelege of these fine teachers - but we are certain that even with basic information and guidance, impressive results will be forthcoming.
