Glass for Atoma Diamond Sheet
Glass for Atoma Diamond Sheet
This 10mm thick glass substrate is designed specifically for pairing with Atoma Diamond Sheets. Chosen for its known flatness and dimensional stability, it offers an ideal surface for adhering your diamond abrasive—transforming it into a highly accurate and effective sharpening or flattening plate.
Once the Atoma Diamond Sheet is mounted, the glass functions as a lightweight, flat diamond plate—particularly well-suited to flattening waterstones with precision and consistency. Its lower weight compared to steel makes it easier to handle, while still providing the rigidity and accuracy needed for critical sharpening work.
A single glass substrate can also be used double-sided, allowing two different grits to be adhered—perfect for those who want to optimise bench space or maintain a compact setup.
Please note: diamond sheets are sold separately and must be adhered manually using their included waterproof backing.
