We are very pleased to introduce Michihamono's latest models of hollowing gouges, perfect for spoons, bowls and other vessels.

The HSS laminations in Michihamono's top-of-the-range models are extremely impressive, and these beauties are no different. Their edges last very well, especially if stropped between sessions.

The heads of these models are larger-radius curves than our other 18mm gouges, whether with HSS or aogami edges. For those looking to work with shallower bowls in their work, these tools are perfect for the job.

Due to the length of the handle, we recommend hand pressure only be used with these tools.
