This Santoku style knife is an excellent multi-purpose knife that can be used to chop meat, fish and vegatables. The light blade with a taller profile and a flatter belly, make the Santoku excellent for a more ‘up and down’ chopping motion.

Hand forged with a 8A Chromium Molybdenum blade (stainless steel), which is strong against rust, has high toughness and retains razor sharpness for a long time. Whilst the comfortable western style handle is made from polished Mahogany Pakka wood handle and provides a firm grip but feels smooth in the hand. Known for its high durability and resistance to moisture the mahogany is complimented steel pins.

Iseya brand by Seto Cutlery has been cultivated in the 800-year historical blade capital of SEKI city, Japan. Made under Blacksmith Yoshinori Seto, they have been manufacturing for more than 100 years and so understand the intricacies of what makes a great knife is on experiential grounds.
