Shinwa Aluminum PROTECT 70cm Cutting Rule

$70.00

Description

The Protect cutting rule allows the craftsperson to make long, straight cuts with extremely sharp tools without the risk of injury from the tool slipping.

The ruler is made from aluminium, with a stainless steel insert on it's cutting side that protects the tool from damage from knives or cutters.

The Protect has a 30mm high aluminium bar that lifts up and sits between the hand holding the ruler in place and the cutting tool. This means that if the operator slips out a cut, injury is much more likely to be avoided.

It also uses a non-slip rubber pad on it's underside to allow it to be held in place with less pressure.

Please note that this ruler uses both metric and traditional Japanese shaku increments.

720mm x 80mm wide, 15mm tall.

Designed in Japan. Manufactured in China.
