Single Plane Blade (no chipbreaker)

Forged by Komori-san in Yoita, Niigata prefecture, these blades are an excellent choice for anyone looking to build a high quality Japanese plane who does not intend to add a chipbreaker. 

These blades are hand-forged with blue paper steel (aogami #2) edges. JTA is proud to have stocked Komori-san's work in various plane shapes and sizes since 2018. His work is sold under his own name as well as under other brands, but the beautiful finish and crisp edges of his tools always make Komori-san's work unmistakeable.
