Description
Made from an old plane block, this plane's body has been recycled into a scraper plane, probably using it's original blade. This is not uncommon to find in old tool collection. Back of blade is mostly free of rust, meaning it will make a great blade for plane-making project. Block has a big split, being held together with a bent nail, and has had a can of lacquer set down on top of it at some point. 170x70x30mm block. 50mm cutting edge.
