The 320 stone is perfect for flattening a new blade or removing scratches and chipped blades. The 1000 stone will be the 'go-to' stone once your tools are in great condition and the 6000 is perfect for honing and burr removal; this stone gives a mirror finish.
The Cerax waterstone by Suehiro Niigata Japan is renowned for its fast cutting surface and its longevity. Not only is it Europe's best selling waterstone, it also has a very solid reputation in Japan and the rest of the world. Widely used across the woodworking and culinary professions; these stones are made from slow-wearing ceramic particles which act as the perfect abrasive for high carbon steel and tool steel alloy such as Vanadium and Chromium.

Reliable and does what is required but at another level!
Well worth it
I’m still learning to sharpen my knives and tools, but this is an excellent piece of equipment, with a wide sharpening surface. It comes in a plastic holder with grip feet so very stable.
I use the 3 piece Cerax Waterstones to keep my spoon carving sloyd knives and hook knives in peak condition. The stones are the perfect width a pleasure to use and I wouldn't be without them.
