Flat Carving Chisel - HSS, 12mm
This beautiful carver's chisel is manufactured with an extremely sharp bevel angle thanks to the excellent metallurgy of it's laminated HSS edges. This edge inherits HSS's durability and strength, but thanks to it's lamination is able to be manufactured at an angle we have not seen from any other manufacturer.
The back of the blade features a hollow grind to allow the user to manage the flatness of the back, as with more conventional chisels.
It's handle is beautifully made from high quality hinoki (Japanese cypress) and is designed for use with hand pressure only (not to be struck).
